Jonathan Duhamel Basic Info:

Duhamel was born in 1987 and was the youngest player of the 2010 WSOP November Nine, and is from Boucherville, Quebec. By winning the 2010 Main Event, he became the first-ever Canadian champion. For his win, he took home $8,944,310 and the coveted WSOP bracelet.

Duhamel started the final table as the chip leader with 65,975,000 in chips, and while he lost the chip lead over the course of the final table, he managed to outlast all the other players until it was just him and John Racener battling heads-up for the title.

Heads-up play lasted 43 hands until short-stacked Racener called Duhamel's all-in shove with King-Eight of diamonds. Duhamel had the stronger hand with Ace of spades and Jack of hearts, which held up and won the title.

The young Canadian is a huge hockey fan who roots for the Montreal Canadians. Before deciding to become a poker pro, he went to college to pursue a finance career.
