No Limit

By Toby Bochan, About.com

Definition: In a "no limit" poker game, each player can bet or raise any amount they want. The only rules are that:

1) the raise can't be less than the blinds at any stage
2) less than the amount of the last raise in a betting round
3) more than the player has on the table

It's no limit poker that has made the phrase "all-in" -- meaning a player bets everything he/she has left -- so popular.
Common Misspellings: nolimit
