Free Card

By Toby Bochan, About.com

Definition: In a hand of poker, when no one bets in a round where there are still cards to come or be dealt, everyone gets to see the next card for free -- making it a 'free card.'
Examples:
After the turn card was dealt, the betting checked around to the dealer, who said, "Let's have a free card," and checked, too. So we all saw the river card for free!
