Overcard

By Toby Bochan, About.com

Definition: A 'overcard' in community card or flop games like Texas Hold'em is a card in the hole or a player's pocket cards higher than any on the board.

For instance, if you are dealt Ace-King as your hole cards in Texas Hold'em and the flop comes Jack-10-6, you have two overcards.
