Phil Laak's Vital Stats:
Phil Laak is known not only as the winner of a World Poker Tour event, but also as the former host of E! Hollywood Hold'em and the boyfriend of actress (and poker champ) Jennifer Tilly. He was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1972 and now lives in California.

Phil Laak's Poker Nickname:
”The Unabomber," because of he often wears a hooded sweatshirt at the table with the hood up.

Phil Laak at the Table:
After his winning appearance at the World Poker Tour Invitational, Laak became famous for his table antics -- he was constantly agitated, jumping up, dancing around the table, kneeling beside the dealer to get the first peek of the next cards, and even doing push-ups.

• July 2005 -- Won against "PokerProbot," the best poker robot in the world
• June 2005 -- Came in 2nd (to Johnny Chan) in the $2,500 Buy-in Pot-limit Hold'em World Series of Poker event

When Poker Babe talked to Laak she asked if No-Limit Hold'em was his favorite game and he answered, "I like Pot Limit Omaha and Ultimate Frisbee more than No Limit Holdem."
