In 2002, she entered the World Poker Tour Costa Rica Classic and made the final table, which got her invited to the World Poker Tour Ladies Night 2003. She won that, and the rest is history.

Clonie is a nickname for Cyclona, her full name. She got the name because she was born during a huge storm.
