The Wynn is one of the fanciest poker rooms on the Strip in one of the poshest casinos in town. You'll find the poker room next to the Ferrari/Maserati dealer, and the non-smoking area holds 26 tables with automatic shufflers. They have limit Hold'em games starting at $4/8 and going to $100/200 and above. They also offer no-limit Texas Hold'em starting at $1/3.
Wynn Poker Room Details:
The vast majority of tables at the Wynn spread Texas Hold'em, both no-limit and limit tables. You can buy into a $1/3 no-limit game for $100 minimum, or $200 will get you a seat at $2/5 no-limit. There is often also a $10/20 Omaha or H.O.R.S.E game going, and one occasion I saw a $20/40 game of Chinese Poker being spread.
Getting Started at the Wynn Poker Room:
They Wynn has an electronic queue system, so you just have to walk up to the front desk and ask to be added to any list you want. If there are open seats at the game you want to play, of course, the floor will direct you directly there. Otherwise, ask to add your initials to a few lists (some games have more movement than others) and they will call your name when there's a seat.
A bonus for players staying in the Wynn Hotel is that they can put their name on the waiting list and watch the queue on the in-house poker channel right in their room.
