Binions Horseshoe Casino Poker Room Overview:
Binions in downtown Las Vegas is the original home of the World Series of Poker, which was the brainchild of owner Benny Binion. It hosted the World Series of Poker from 1970 until 2004, when it moved to the Rio All-Suite.
Even without the series, Binions is still a great place for poker. They have an enormous room packed with people and tables and poker history. They have 46 tables in their red-papered room and plenty of action.

Overall Impressions & Review:
No one would ever say that Binion's is the fanciest, cleanest poker room in Vegas. But I've had some great times there, no matter what time of day I've gone. There are a ton of characters at the tables and there is always plenty of poker going on. There's also something great about playing a poker room that's not so shiny clean but still holds the cigarette smoke of poker legends in the carpet.
If you're a poker fan, you should make it a point to stop by "the place that made poker famous"
