Ylon was a professional chess player for 12 years, and played in New York City’s public parks for money. He gave up playing chess for a living when he discovered he could make a far better living playing poker. He also is a backgammon player.

What Schwartz Will Do if He Wins the WSOP Main Event:

"Ylon says he’ll use the cash to take a trip to South America and chill out in a hammock on the beach. He also claims he’ll buy himself a new apartment, a car and lots of DVDs."
