When he got to the 2008 World Series of Poker, his luck and skill got him in the money at 3 events before the main event, netting over $73,000. After making it through his own 'Day 1' at the 2008 WSOP Main Event, he headed over to the Bellagio and entered the $3K No-Limit Hold ‘em tournament at the Bellagio Cup IV -- he finished in 4th place and pocketed and $34,000.

Scott Montgomery on the Final Table::

"I'm going to win; I planned on winning from day one. I plan on playing all the tournaments I can between now and then. I don't know how much research you can really do, if I can get some pre-information I wouldn't turn it down. If I take a vacation, I will go to Monte Carlo and play some poker."
