By Toby Bochan, About.com

Craig Marquis Basic Info:

Craig Marquis is a Texan from Arlington and is 23 years old, and could become the youngest WSOP main event champ ever. He's a college student who's pretty new to poker -- he's been playing about a year and a half. If he wins, he plans on buying his family a swimming pool.

Marquis' previous World Series of Poker finishes::

Craig has cashed in 3 previous WSOP events, finishing as high as 18th place in a no-limit event. His winnings totaled about $35,000 until the 2008 WSOP main event.

Craig Marquis on what he'll do until the Final Table of the WSOP::

"I'm going to relax and try to enjoy myself. I don't plan on playing a lot of poker, but I will go to Europe and then focus on November when I come back. I've played against pretty much all of them a decent bit and unless they drastically change their game, I would be ready to play them tomorrow."
