How to Play Omaha High
Friday December 12, 2008
At my regular Thursday night home poker game, we've started what seems like a definite tradition of starting out the night with a little five-card draw, and then playing a few rounds of Omaha High, before getting to the Texas Hold'em. I love this addition to the game, and it seems everyone else does too, since it keeps happening. If you play in a home game that's usually all Hold'em, I highly recommend trying out a few hands of Omaha -- it has a lot that's the same as Hold'em, so the gang should be able to pick it up quickly, but there's also so much that's different about it. Here's how to play Omaha High Poker.
