Poker Chip Sets and Other Poker Gifts

Saturday October 11, 2008

I get a lot of poker gifts, and I like them all, but the poker chip set I got last year are my favorite. There are plenty of fun poker room decor items I've gotten through the years, but the chips are practical, and really take my home game up a notch. Everyone always oohs and ahs when they feel how nice and heavy they are, and they're fun to riffle. They don't have to be expensive, either, there are a lot of good poker chip sets you can get for about $30-$50. Don't know the difference between clay, metal, and plastic? Find out the deal before you buy poker chips.

Interesting stuff on chips. I wish I had read this when I was looking for mine. I bought the Bellagio WPT set which I am quite happy with. One tip I can give is to look for poker sets on ebay if you want a deal. I got mine at half off retail brand new. Used is even better, and realistically poker chips dont really wear.
