Wednesday June 25, 2008
Poker pro John Phan has won the 2008 World Series of Poker Limit Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw Lowball event, giving him not only his second bracelet ever, but his second bracelet in a week -- he won the $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em championship event exactly seven days ago (pictured left). John "the Razor" Phan beat a tough final table which included Billy Baxter, David Sklansky, and Robert Mizrachi to take home $151,911 in first prize money. He's so far the only 2008 winner to capture two bracelets, and said he hopes to be the first to capture three in a single year.
