Erik Seidel Wins First World Poker Tour Title

Poker legend Erik Seidel is perhaps best known to the public by his loss to Johnny Chan in the 1988 World Series of Poker, which was featured in the movie Rounders, but among poker people, he is known as an amazing player who has won 8 WSOP bracelets since that fateful match. Late last week, he finally added a World Poker Tour win to his impressive bio, beating a final table at Foxwoods which included fellow pro Ted Forrest. But after an 11-hour batter, Seidel beat Robert Richardson for the $967,390 prize, which is his biggest tournament win to date.
