In sad poker news, an argument that began over a seat at a poker table ended in the tragic death of one of the players. According to reports, 61-year-old Arthur Prince was stabbed just outside the Trump Taj Mahal casino's entrance by 57-year-old Vicente Perez and later bled to death. Apparently, Prince had been given Perez's former seat at a $1-$2 no-limit Texas Hold'em Game and the argument had continued outside to the outside valet area, where the fatal stabbing occured.

I always figured poker for a cut-throat game, no holds barred. But death over a “Texas Holdem” no-limit $1-$2 seat, not even a pot, shows some people take their games a little too seriously and I think casino security should have become involved and at least separated the two before the conflict escalated to the death of one…
