On Poker Tells

Friday February 8, 2008
One term you hear bandied about a lot when people talk about poker is "tell." And not in a "tell me what you had," way, but as in, "When I saw that guy scratch his ear, I knew he was bluffing. That was his tell." Reading people and figuring out what poker hand they might be holding is a highly important skill for poker players to learn.

If you're new to the idea of reading people, start by learning the basic Poker Tells and you may discover all sorts of things about your opponents they didn't mean to tell you.
