2008 World Series of Poker Schedule

As I say goodbye to 2007, I am excited to start looking forward to the poker to be played next year, especially now that the full 2008 World Series of Poker Schedule of events has been released! There are some really interesting events, but the most unusual new event is #8, the $10,000 buy-in "World Championship Mixed Event" which includes the most varieties of poker I've seen in one tournament: Limit Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, Seven Card Razz, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better, No-Limit Hold'em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball. Wowzers! Looks like it aims to compete with the $50,000 buy-in H.O.R.S.E event that started in 2006 and is considered by many to be the tournament that crowns the best all-around poker player in the world.
