Where to Play Poker in Vegas

I have one friend who often e-mails or calls me as he waits on the runway in Las Vegas to deplane with a message like this: "I have 4 hours free in Vegas. Where should I go?" The first time he called, I recommended the Bellagio, as he wanted to play some higher-limit Texas Hold'em, while another time he called and wanted to waste a little time & money playing $1/2 no-limit hold'em during the day. I recommended Caesars & the MGM that time. Now, I can't give hour-by-hour recommendations to everyone, but I can say that if you're in Vegas and you want to play some cards, you'd do well to visit any of my top picks for Las Vegas poker rooms.
