The Foxwoods Poker Classic got underway this weekend, with two "day ones," one on Friday and another on Saturday. Between the two, 415 players started on the path to a first place of $1,272,905. After the second day of play, which was
bananas, only 56 players remain. Some of the pros left include
Chau Giang (pictured),
John Hennigan, Paul Darden,
Jean-Robert Bellande, and
Bill Gazes. At the top of the chip heap, Casey Griswold leads the pack with just under 400K in chips, while
Amnon Filippi is second in chips with 379,600. Catch up on the action so far with the links below, especially the pictures, which have some great moments.
