I Just Flew Back From Vegas...

... and boy is my liver tired. Every time I go to Vegas I have a better time than the one before -- and my last visit to the 2006 World Series of Poker was going to be a hard trip to beat. But beat it this one did. Beyond visiting andplaying in some of my favorite poker rooms in Vegas (and finding a new one to add to the list, too), I got to meet some of my favorite poker bloggers and writers and play with some of them too. Especially exciting for me was meeting & playing with Michael Craig, and happening to run into James McManus at the Bellagio -- two men who have written two of my very favorite non how-to books about poker ever. But overall, it was the poker bloggers who made the weekend special. I will be updating my blog roll, a long overdue chore, but luckily for me, the poker blogfather has a great list of everyone who was there, and by reading along, you can get a good sense of why my liver is mad at me.
