8,773 World Series of Poker Entrants

It's official: After the fourth and final day 1 of the main event of the World Series of Poker, the total entrants in the event numbered 8,773. It's a new record on every level, with a prize pool of over 80 million dollars and what looks like at least $11,500,000 for first place. Wow. The next addition to the WSOP Main Event Winners list sure will have something to celebrate.
