HORSE Event Final Table Set at World Series of Poker
Friday July 14, 2006
Originally, the final table of the $50,000 buy-in HORSE event here at the 2006 World Series of Poker was supposed to get underway at 3 pm... little did they know it would take until 10 am this morning to get down to the final 9. Pauly over at Tao of Poker was there for the long haul overnight, and said it was quite a game. Chip Reese and legend Doyle Brunson lead the final 9, with Patrik Antonius just making it to the final table with a very short stack. Today, play begins at 9 pm pacific time, and I'll be here to see history happen. Very exciting. If you tried to view the photos from the 1st day of the HORSE Event and couldn't for the last few days, I apologize -- About.com was having technical difficulties and I was not warned. They are up now. More will come soon.
