All this news of celebrities playing poker & poker players, um, on film, has reminded me of one of the most beloved poker TV shows: Celebrity Poker Showdown. While the show is in repeats now until the new season -- with Phil Hellmuth as the new host -- begins airing, repeats of seasons past can still be seen every day on Bravo. My favorite part of this show is David Foley, who I love in every role he ever does. So lets get back to where the celebrity poker party all began and watch an episode.

Toby, is Dave Foley going to be back? Bad enough that Hellmuth is replacing Gordon, but no Dave, then no interest in watching.
Thankfully, yes, Foley is returning this season. We’ll see if he can stand working with Hellmuth beyond a year though…
