Phil Hellmuth new Co-Host of Celebrity Poker Showdown

The speculation over who will fill in former host Phil Gordon's shoes on Celebrity Poker Showdown is over -- it's another Phil, Phil "the poker brat" Hellmuth, who will join Dave Foley in the new season, which will be held not in Las Vegas, but in New Orleans, at the Harrah's there, and give a cool million to Hurricane Katrina charities over its 8th season.

In the press release, the executive producer said, "New Orleans is a city with a heart and soul like no other American City and being that it is the birthplace of poker, there was no better place to take our show. And in the process, to be able to give away a million dollars to help bring back the big easy, that's a winning hand."
