Party Poker Sheds Skin
The big news in the online poker world this morning is that mega-site Party Poker has separated itself from it's "skins." What that means is that before this weekend, if you were playing at a Party Poker "skin" like Empire Poker, Multipoker, or Eurobet, when you signed into any of these different sites, you were still really part of the same big party -- all the players on all these sites really played together with the players on Party Poker. Now, if you sign onto Party Poker, you're only playing with the people who've signed in to Party Poker. What's more, Party Poker now has new features like side bets as well as blackjack tables.
