How to Cheat Your Friends at Poker
Wednesday August 31, 2005
So tonight I'm off to see Penn Jillette's new movie, The Aristocrats, which I'm hoping is as funny as most of my friends say, including a poker-playing comedian I know.
Penn Jillette is not only a comedian, a magician, but also a poker player, who has collaborated on a new book that's about to hit the stands, How to Cheat Your Friends at Poker: The Wisdom of Dickie Richard, which I got an advanced copy of. Now I know the movie I'm about to see is a swear and vulgarity-filled festival, but I wasn't prepared for the book to be so...colorful. So read the review and be warned!
Meanwhile, I'm getting more and more concerned about online cheating, which isn't covered in the book but was recently covered in depth by Wired in an article on pokerbots.
